Engineering apprenticeships are probably the most widely recognised of all modern apprenticeships. Engineering covers a wide range of job roles and skills including machining or fitting, industrial electricians, welders, fabricators and maintenance staff.
There are 2 forms of apprenticeship available in engineering, each made up of a framework of qualifications (click each for more details):

The apprenticeship will be centred on an NVQ that will be matched to the job role and duties of the apprentice. The NVQs that are available through TSW are:
