The course lasts for three days and covers a comprehensive introduction to First Aid at Work. Through a variety of theoretical input and practical demonstrations participants will have the opportunity to discuss and practice first aid procedures that can be adapted to any work situation. This course is suitable for a maximum of 12 participants.
This course is ideal for Nominated workplace first aiders, or anyone wanting a comprehensive introduction to first aid.
Delegates are requested to complete a pre-course questionnaire that will be handed to the tutor before the first day of the course. This ensures that the course is delivered to the highest quality and is relevant to delegate's needs and objectives.
The assessment comprises of a written examination plus a practical assessment of CPR, recovery position and treatment of a bleed. After completing a final assessment successful candidates receive a Highfields approved certificate valid for three years. An annual refresher course is highly recommended.
This course is legally compliant with the current Health & Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981.
