The course lasts for three days and covers a comprehensive introduction to First Aid at Work. Through a variety of theoretical input and practical demonstrations participants will have the opportunity to discuss and practice first aid procedures applicable to adults, babies and children and can be adapted to any work situation. This course is suitable for a maximum of 12 participants. This course can be run exclusively and tailored to suit your company's specific learning requirements and organisational needs. Costs are dependent on number of days required and bespoke content.

By the end of this course delegates will be able to:
After completing a final assessment successful candidates receive an HSE approved certificate valid for three years. The assessment comprises of a written examination plus a practical assessment of CPR, recovery position and treatment of a bleed. This course is legally compliant with the current Health & Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981.
Upon successful completion of this three day course, first aiders receive certification to allow them to practise for three years after which a re-qualification course becomes necessary. An annual refresher course is strongly recommended.
