Volvo Case Study

Volvo Construction Equipment are the distribution organisation in Great Britain for the full range of Volvo Construction products. Operating from eight Customer Support Centres throughout Great Britain, supplemented by strategically located home based engineers, Volvo offers high level support that you would expect from a global construction equipment manufacturer.

Volvo recognised a need for a training provider that would be able to deliver a Leadership & Management Programme in-line with their training goals. TSW met with Volvo to gain an understanding of their background and to establish the aims and objectives of the training programme. TSW’s solution was a blended learning Leadership & Management programme that provided a structured yet flexible approach through a series of modules.

The Royal Mint Case Study

As the World’s leading mint and a tier 1 COMAH site, The Royal Mint ensure all their staff are knowledgeable and competent in health & safety within the workplace. 

The Royal Mint have a long standing working relationship with TSW, and over many years  have established trust in their ability to train their employees in a way that allows the learning to be easily transferred into the workplace.

TSW delivered the IOSH Working Safely course flexibly within the workplace to fit in around shift patterns. The aim of the training was to provide the attendees with an understanding of identifying hazards, risk assessment, protecting the environment and maintaining an improved safety culture.

Connect Assist Case Study

Connect Assist is a social business, which has a specialist contact centre providing helplines and digital services to 50 clients, including the Royal British Legion and Barnardo’s. Connect Assist has restructured due to its rapid growth over the past two years. As a result, it needed a tailored programme to train its call handlers in coaching skills.

TSW provided Institute of Leadership and Management Level Three Coaching Skills to a group of ten call handlers to develop their core coaching skills. Our bespoke training programme pass rate was 100%. The result resulted in a positive change in Connect Assist’s work force.

Work Based Learning Case Study

Many teenagers make the decision to leave school after their exams and to progress their career in alternative ways to the traditional route.

We are currently working with Kate Porter, who left school at the age of 16. Kate is in the process of completing our Institute of Leadership and Management (ILM) Level 5 qualification so that she can progress in her current job to become a Senior Childcare Practitioner.
