Programme Overview

To ensure that all staff are conversant with their duties and responsibilities.

Course Objectives

For all staff to demonstrate knowledge and understanding by carrying out a practical fire risk assessment.

Course Content

To comply with the Management of Health & Safety At Work Regulations 1992 and the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005You will be required to:

  • Carry out fire risk assessment of your workplace Identify the significant findings of the risk assessment
  • Record your findings
  • Provide and maintain such precautions as are necessary
  • Provide information, instructions and training for employees
  • Safeguard the safety of your employees
  • Nominate candidates to carry out particular roles

This course uses a structured series of lively and interesting case studies, exercises and practical skills activities that will reinforce your learning.
