If you are new to people management this course is the ideal way to gain the skills you require quickly. As a new leader you will return to work feeling motivated and confident that you can make a positive impact in your new role. This course will challenge the way you see yourself and how you choose to lead your team.
The NEBOSH General Certificate covers the main legal requirements for safety in the UK, a range of workplace hazards, and methods of control. The NEBOSH National General Certificate also includes a practical workplace assessment, to help delegates apply their learning at work and to add value to their employer.
The course lasts for three days and covers a comprehensive introduction to First Aid at Work. Through a variety of theoretical input and practical demonstrations participants will have the opportunity to discuss and practice first aid procedures that can be adapted to any work situation.
This course is suitable for a maximum of 12 participants
This two day interactive course is designed to update existing IRCA Certified QMS auditors, who need complete transition training to retain their accreditation, as well as serve as the foundation for new candidates not previously familiar with the ISO14001 standards.
The course is designed to meet the training requirements set by IRCA for the training of auditors in: the framework for a generic management system standard Annex SL Appendix 2; and the changes to ISO 14001:2015. The course combines all of the elements of the separate modules for Annex SL and ISO 14001:2015 into a single integrated training course.
Working Safely: introducing a completely new approach to health and safety training - a one-day course offering all the basics in a high impact interactive package.
The course lasts one day and covers the essential of first aid through a variety of theoretical input and practical demonstrations.
This accredited qualification provides learners with skills to further their first aid training. It is recommended for first aiders in the workplace environment who have access to a defibrillator.
The participants will have the opportunity to discuss and practice resuscitation and defibrillation procedures applicable to adults, babies and children. This course is suitable for a maximum of 12 participants.
Managing safely won't turn delegates into safety experts - but it will give them the knowledge and tools to tackle the health and safety issues they're responsible for. Importantly, it brings home just why health and safety is such an essential part of their job.
This course has been specifically developed with a strong bias towards practical learning. After an initial introduction to the techniques used in auditing the course proceeds to a series of linked case studies which simulate a live audit. Feedback on performance is given at each stage so that course members can learn, practice and improve their auditing skills.
The CITB Site Management Safety Training Scheme (SMSTS) is an industry recognised course. This five day course will cover a broad range of topics that will equip the delegate with the necessary knowledge to comply with associated legislation to ensure healthy and safe conditions for construction site employees.
Delegates will gain the knowledge required to comply with legislation and regulations within a construction environment, such as the Health and Safety Act 1974.
