The NEBOSH Construction Certificate is a key step to a career in health and safety in the construction industry. As well as providing a sound basis for further professional study, successful completion of the course enables you to apply for Technical Membership of IOSH (Tech IOSH) and for the Associate Membership of the International Institute of Risk and Safety Management, allowing you to use AIIRSM after your name.
This course has been specifically developed with a strong bias towards practical learning. After an initial introduction to the techniques used in auditing the course proceeds to a series of linked case studies which simulate a live audit. Feedback on performance is given at each stage so that course members can learn, practice and improve their auditing skills.
The NEBOSH General Certificate covers the main legal requirements for safety in the UK, a range of workplace hazards, and methods of control. The NEBOSH National General Certificate also includes a practical workplace assessment, to help delegates apply their learning at work and to add value to their employer.
