ReAct Funding

Have you recently been made redundant? If so you can access up to £1500 towards professionally recognised qualifications!

The Redundancy Action Scheme (ReAct) is a programme of training funding for people in Wales who are facing redundancy. The scheme can also help Employers who are downsizing their business or are recruiting staff.


In order to ensure that this training provides the best possible chance of finding new employment, all applications will need to have their training needs assessed by Careers Wales. TSW can direct you to your nearest Careers Wales office and provide advice on any development you might need.
 

ReAct funding can offer:

  • 100 per cent of training costs to acquire new skills (up to a maximum of £1,500
  • Reimbursement of travel costs to training courses
  • Overnight accommodation costs, where appropriate
  • Reimbursement of childcare (costs subject to limits and conditions)

TSW Training can offer a range of professionally recognised qualifications which are eligible under the ReAct funding scheme. Some of these courses include:

  • ILM Level 2 Certificate in Team Leading
  • ILM Level 3 Award in First Line Management
  • ILM Level 5 Certificate in Management
  • IOSH Working Safely
  • IOSH Managing Safely
  • IOSH Directing Safely
  • CIEH Level 3 Award in Training Skills and Practice
  • PTLLS (Preparing to Teach in the Lifelong Learning Sector)
