Manual Handling Training is designed to help employers ensure that they protect their workers from the risks associated with hazardous manual handling in the workplace.
In providing manual handling training, organisations are ensuring that they comply with UK Health and Safety legislation. The ‘Manual Handling Operations Regulations 1992 (MHOR) require that employers avoid, assess, and reduce the risk of injury from manual handling at work.
TSW’s manual handling course is aligned to the MHOR regulations and will raise awareness and reduce risk in your organisation. It will provide your workers with the required knowledge on the risk factors and how injuries can happen, and how to carry out safe manual handling, including good handling techniques
Tailored for your organisation: As the HSE state, “the content of any training in good handling technique should be tailored to the tasks the workers carry out”. At TSW we work with you to ensure we understand your business and provide manual handling training that is tailored to your specific circumstances.
Our manual handling training course is aimed at any employee who undertakes manual handling operations. This includes anyone who may transport or support a load by hand or bodily force.
