The NEBOSH Health and Safety Management for Construction is the UK’s most respected health and safety qualification for people working in the construction industry.
By completing the course will have the knowledge and skills you need to implement and monitor a health and safety management system that adheres to the Construction Design and Management (CDM) Regulations. At the same time, you’ll learn how to identify, assess, and control construction-related risks.

The NEBOSH construction sits in the Scottish Credit and Qualifications Framework (SCQF) at SCQF Level 7, which is the equivalent of RQF/CQFW Level 4 in England, Wales and Northern Ireland.
This means that by gaining this qualification you will be eligible for a CSCS Academically Qualified Person Card.

By the end of the NEBOSH Construction Certificate, you will be able to:
The assessment for this qualification consists of an Open Book Examination (OBE). It’s a practical assessment based on a realistic construction-based scenario.
You will have 48 hours to download, complete and submit your answers.
The provisional pass mark for Unit NC1 is 45%.
You will need to receive a passing grade in order to achieve the NEBOSH Health and Safety Management
for Construction certification.
You will be assessed by an external examiner appointed by NEBOSH. These examiners are selected based on their experience and expertise in the industry.
As a holder of this qualification, you will be able to apply for Associate membership (AIIRSM) with the International Institute of Risk and Safety Management (IIRSM).
You will also become eligible for the Construction Skills Certification Scheme (CSCS) Academically Qualified Person (AQP) card scheme.

The NEBOSH Construction is The assessment for this qualification consists of an Open Book Examination (OBE).
You will have 48 hours to complete and submit your answers. You do not have to complete the examination all in one go.
The provisional pass mark for Unit NC1 is 45%. You will need to receive a passing grade in order to achieve the NEBOSH Health and Safety Management
for Construction certification.
The NEBOSH Health and Safety Management for Construction (UK) is delivered over a minimum of 70 taught hours.
In addition, to this taught time, it is estimated that you will need to do 40 hours of private study and background reading; this will prepare you for the 48-hour open-book examination.
You should receive your results around 50 working days from the date of the examination you sit.
Before that, when we put you forward for an exam date with NEBOSH you will receive your examination entry confirmation which will include the specific date.
When you successfully pass the NEBOSH Construction exam we will send you your certificate.
Your certificate will arrive with you, sent from TSW, about 10 weeks following the date on which the results are announced by NEBOSH.
As a holder of the NEBOSH Construction Certificate, you can apply for Associate membership (AIIRSM) with the International Institute of Risk and Safety Management (IIRSM).
You will also be eligible for the Construction Skills Certification Scheme (CSCS) black Black Academically Qualified Person (AQP) card.
