The NEBOSH National General Certificate online/e-learning course covers the exact same content as the tried and tested classroom NEBOSH National General Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety.
As with our standard and fast track NEBOSH National General Certificate course, the e-learning version covers the main legal requirements for safety in the UK, a range of workplace hazards, and methods of control.

This online course is for managers, supervisors, and staff from all types of organisations, who need a broad understanding of health and safety issues.
This e-learning route for this course is suited to those that wish to limit the amount of time that they are away from the workplace. If you are self-motivated and prefer to learn at your own pace then this is the learning method for you.

The NEBOSH National General Certificate is assessed in two parts:
You will need to pass both parts to achieve your NEBOSH General Certificate.
NEBOSH has introduced an open book exam for the NEBOSH National General Certificate (NG1). This exam is a replacement for the closed book exams (carried out in an examinations venue) and allows you to sit your NEBOSH exam in your own home or at another suitable location (i.e. workplace, quiet room in a library etc.).
Once you have completed the online course, you will contact us to find out when the next exam date is being held and to register yourself for your chosen date. More information on the open book exam.
NEBOSH recommends that the National General Certificate e-learning course will require a minimum of 113 hours of learning and study time, plus the time required to complete the exam. Depending on the time you have available to learn the online course can take from 3-9 months to complete. You can fit the learning around your commitments and have twelve months’ access to our system.

The online E-learning NEBOSH costs £475+VAT per license – Discounts are available when purchasing multiple licenses, please enquire for more information.
Please note: this price does not include the price of exams. Exams can be booked when you purchase your course license, but most customers choose to book their assessments when they feel they are ready to sit the exam and complete the risk assessment.
Exam Fees: NEBOSH charge Fees @ £125+VAT for the NG1 exam and £125+VAT for the NG2 risk assessment.
