Excel Precision Engineering Case Study Overview​

Excel Precision Engineering manufacture components and offer engineering support to the automotive industry, clients include Bentley Motor Cars, Aston Martin, Calsonic Kansai, Gestamp, GTI, Sears Seating.

Quality and service are at the core of the business, with engineering support offered during product development, to final customer sign-off and throughout the life of the product. This is supported and controlled by the implementation of quality management systems ISO 9001:2008 and TS 16949.

Excel Precision Engineering's Training Brief

A large proportion of the work carried out by Excel Precision Engineering is machine based. As a result the company required current quality systems and procedures to be developed and implemented throughout the organisation that would support deliver of the highest standards.

A series of meetings were enabling us to understand and outline Excel’s training objectives and desired outcomes. We spent time at Excel Precision Engineering’s purpose built facility to enable us to fully understand the company’s requirements.

TSW designed a bespoke programme, including six quality management and efficiency modules, expertly tailored to Excel Precision Engineering’s requirements for developing the company’s procedures and systems, whilst developing staff to work with them.
