TSW Training (“TSW”) is committed to ensuring any Personal Data entrusted with us is kept securely and for the purposes that information was initially disclosed. Information we collect

TSW will collect Personal Data on individuals for the purposes of the administration and delivery of training and services. TSW will collect the minimum amount of Personal Data required to carry out our business services. The following types of Personal Data may be collected:

  8. Passport Number
  9. Driver Licence Number

Additionally, TSW may be required to collect data which is defined as special category data. Providing

this data is optional and will include:

  1. Ethnicity
  2. Disability Type
  3. Physical or mental health

Our use of your personal data and other information

TSW may use your personal data where it is necessary to pursue our legitimate interests to deliver our training and/or services such as:

  • Providing training or services
  • Performing administrative tasks in connection to training or services
  • Contacting you directly, if required, in relation to our quality assurance processes, investigations, appeals or complaints
  • Contacting you directly in relation to new and existing training and services offered by TSW

TSW may use Personal Data classified as special category data under GDPR in certain circumstances

such as:

  • Applying for special consideration for examinations or assessments
  • Applying for certification or awards on your behalf

TSW may also process your data if required by law such as responding to requests by government or law enforcement authorities.

What we collect for marketing purposes

TSW Training collects names, email addresses and messages using the web forms on this site when you download workbooks, or other free digital content, relevant to skills development and enhancement. In every form submission, we ask for your consent to use personal data to send you newsletters and promotional information for marketing purposes.

Our disclosure of your personal data and other information

TSW does not, and will not, sell your Personal Data to other organisations. There are, however, circumstances in which we may share your Personal Data with third parties without further notice to you. These scenarios are outlined below:

  • Business Exchange
    As our business expands, we might sell or buy business or assets. In the event of a corporate sale, merger, reorganisation, dissolution or similar event, Personal Data may be included as part of the transferred assets, but we will not sell, distribute or lease your personal information to third parties following a marketing opt-in.
  • Related Companies
    We may share your Personal Data with other companies in the TSW Training Group to provide our training and services. Any use by related companies will be consistent with this Privacy Policy
  • Digital analysis, content distribution and advertising

TSW Training analyses data about webpage traffic using Google Analytics to improve our website for all our visitors, gathering data via cookies (see: ‘How we use cookies’ below). 

We use Google Ads to market our courses and services to customers with relevant interests, within specific locations in the UK. Please see Google’s Privacy & Terms site for more information.

We use CRM and marketing platform, Hubspot, to store and manage our marketing database of contacts. It is used primarily for email marketing and content distribution. Read the Hubspot Privacy Policy.

  • Awarding Bodies
    As a training provider, TSW offers individuals the ability to achieve accredited qualifications through third-party Awarding Bodies. TSW may transfer your Personal Data to the Awarding Bodies for the purposes of applying for or registering your qualification. TSW will only use Awarding Bodies who comply with GDPR.   • Agents, Consultants and Related Third Parties
    As with most organisations, TSW may hire other companies and non-employee individuals to perform certain business-related functions. These functions may include (but are not limited to) mailing information, maintaining IT systems and processing payments. Only Personal Data required to perform the specific function is provided to the third party and they will be subject to terms that are consistent with our Privacy Policy
  • Legal Requirements
    TSW may disclose your Personal Data if required to do so by law or in the good faith that action is essential to:

    • Comply with a legal obligation
    • Protect or defend the rights or property of TSW
    • Act in urgent circumstances to protect personal safety of our customers of the public

What we do with the information we gather for marketing purposes

We require this information to understand what you need, so we can give you a better service across TSW Training. That includes: 

  • Maintaining internal contact records and updating your preferences
  • Customising the TSW website according to your interests.
  • If you have opted-in, we will send you promotional emails about ways to improve your skill set, new courses, special offers and any other relevant information which we think you may find interesting via the email address you gave us

How we use cookies

Children

TSW will not knowingly collect any Personal Data from children under the age of 13. If you are under the age of 13, please do not submit any Personal Data to TSW. If you have reason to believe that TSW holds Personal Data on a child under the age of 13, please contact us as outlined below, and we will endeavour to delete all information relating to the individual from our systems.

Data Protection – Location

Where possible, TSW will ensure that Personal Data remains within the United Kingdom. Where there is a requirement to process your data outside of the United Kingdom, TSW will ensure that the data processor will comply with the terms of this privacy policy.

Data Protection – Your Rights

Individuals located in the European Economic Area have certain statutory rights in relation to their personal data. Excluding exemptions provided by legal basis, you may have the right to request access to Information, as well as request that Information is updated, deleted or corrected. TSW takes every reasonable step available to protect all the Personal Data we hold from loss, misuse, and unauthorised access, disclosure, alteration or destruction. Personal Data is securely stored in TSW’s Customer Relationship Management (CRM). By design, access to Personal Data is protected behind suitable and specific technological and procedural controls. However, no internet or email transmission is ever full secure of error free. Therefore, when sending us Personal Data, we recommend you take special care in deciding what Data you choose to include via email.

Changes to TSW’s Privacy Policy

It may be necessary for TSW to make changes to this Privacy Policy. TSW reserves the right to modify this Privacy Policy at any time without prior notice. We will take reasonable steps to update or correct Personal Data in our possession that you have previously submitted.
