The eight-hour assessment comprises an open book exam (Unit FSC1: Fire Safety) and assessed assignment (Unit FSC2: Fire risk assessment).
In the five-hour exam, you will answer questions about fire safety in a realistic workplace and situation. You’ll also need to use the evidence presented in the scenario to complete a series of tasks. To pass the assessment, you must demonstrate everything you have learned throughout the course.
The three-hour assignment asks you to complete a fire risk assessment using a fire risk assessment standard (like the Home Office fire guidance and PAS79-1:2020).
Your results will always arrive within 50 days of submitting your exam and practical assessment.
