To earn the qualification, you must attend 28 hours with a trainer, plus complete 20 hours of private study.

Where can I take the NEBOSH Certificate in Fire Safety course? chevron

Sign up in person at one of our premium training venues in south Wales, or you register for a TSW online course. 

How is the NEBOSH Environmental Management Certificate assessed? chevron

The eight-hour assessment comprises an open book exam (Unit FSC1: Fire Safety) and assessed assignment (Unit FSC2: Fire risk assessment). 

In the five-hour exam, you will answer questions about fire safety in a realistic workplace and situation. You'll also need to use the evidence presented in the scenario to complete a series of tasks. To pass the assessment, you must demonstrate everything you have learned throughout the course. 

The three-hour assignment asks you to complete a fire risk assessment using a fire risk assessment standard (like the Home Office fire guidance and PAS79-1:2020).

When do you get the results of the NEBOSH Certificate in Fire Safety assessment? chevron

Your results will always arrive within 50 days of submitting your exam and practical assessment.
