This team leader skills qualification is designed to help boost your performance as a team member and help them make the transition from working in a team to leading a team.
It will help practising team leaders and supervisors to be more effective and confident in their roles. On the course, you will explore team leader qualities and behaviours before considering how you can manage yourself more effectively to better fulfil your team leader duties

ILM Level 2 Award in Leadership and Team Skills is ideal for practising team leaders, helping them become more effective and confident in their role.
The course also supports new or aspiring team leaders – helping them make the transition from working in a team to leading a team.

The ILM Level 2 Award qualification is assessed using a range of short answer questions that follow each of the following units:

After completing to ILM Level 2 Award in Leadership and Team Skills, you, or your employees, could progress to the following courses:
An Institute of Leadership and Management (ILM) course is a training experience for leaders and managers. It caters from entry-level or junior management, all the way up to senior managers and CEOs.
TSW Training offers in-house delivery at your place of work, or via online delivery.
Alternatively, you can book onto our open programme and attend an online classroom course, or attend in-person at our Training Centre, Fairwood House.
A Level 2 course is an entry level qualification. You don’t need any prior experience or qualifications to join. A Level 2 ILM is aimed at Team Leaders and Supervisors.
This course can be delivered exclusively for your organisation, in any location or virtually through Microsoft Teams or Zoom. Read more on our in-house training services.
