Who are Management Training Courses for?
People undertaking management training can be at different levels; they may be aspiring managers, experienced managers and anything in between. They may also be line managers, responsible for a person or team of people, or a functional manager, responsible for a particular area of work.
The ILM Level 3 and Level 5 management programmes are popular for new and aspiring managers and supervisors at the relevant levels.
The best managers need a wide range of interpersonal skills to be effective. In addition to our wider management skills courses, we design and deliver many interpersonal skills training courses such as communication skills, presentation and public speaking skills, train the trainer and more.
Core Features of Our Management Training Programs
When you enrol your team in leadership and management training courses with TSW, you’re gaining an all-round approach to improving the skills in your business.
- Learn Where You Like: People learn best in a comfortable and familiar environment, which is why we offer online management courses as well as in-house solutions. Your teams can sit in our open programme classroom courses, through virtual learning, or in their own time via eLearning courses.
- Expert Tutors: All our management courses are delivered by experts in their field. For example, our Management Skills 101 course boasts trainers with well over 50 years of experience. Meanwhile, our NEBOSH National General Certificate trainers have more than 60 years of occupational safety and health knowledge between them.
- Bespoke: Investing in expert trainers means we can customise our management training to suit your team—from more generalist office environments to large industrial settings such as quarries or plants. This tailoring of educational content improves the opportunity for knowledge to stay in your business.
- Immediately Applicable Skills: In addition to improving retention rates, our bespoke approach means your team can implement the skills they’ve learned immediately – maximising the potential for performance improvements and training ROI.
- Personal Development: For many, management training is mainly about enhancing business-centric abilities. However, we believe the backbone of continuous improvement is personal and professional development. That’s why our management courses also build on certain soft skills, such as emotional intelligence in the workplace, conflict management, problem-solving, and the importance of showing empathy as a leader.
- Relevant Theory & Practical Assessments: Instilling these core skills in your management team is incredibly important for fostering a positive workplace culture. We do this by leveraging a combination of theoretical learning and practical sessions. Studying respected theories like Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs or John Adair’s Action-Centred Leadership is great for propping up knowledge blocks. However, utilising tools like role play can help learners see those theories applied in their everyday roles.
Whether you’re aiming to prepare your future managers or just upskill your current team, our tailored, expert service delivers proven results.
