Course Content, Syllabus & Learning Outcomes
By the end of the course, delegates will be able to:
- Explain Lean Six Sigma principles and the DMAIC methodology
- Define improvement opportunities using VOC, CTQ, SIPOC and Project Charters
- Measure process performance using appropriate data and metrics
- Apply measurement system analysis and basic statistical tools
- Analyse root causes using qualitative and quantitative techniques
- Develop and implement improvement solutions using Lean tools
- Apply 5S, Kaizen, Kanban, SMED and Poka-Yoke
- Use SPC and process capability measures
- Develop control plans to sustain improvements
- Present and close out an improvement project
This course provides a comprehensive and practical grounding in Lean Six Sigma tools and techniques, with strong emphasis on workplace application.
There is no formal assessment on this course.
Delegates receive a TSW Six Sigma Green Belt Certificate of Completion following full attendance.
