By signing the covenant, we pledge to honour two key principles:
- Ensuring no member of the armed forces community faces disadvantages in the workplace or community compared to other citizens.
- We offer special consideration to those who have made significant sacrifices, such as the injured or bereaved.
Why The Armed Forces Covenant Matters to Us
At TSW Training, we believe that the skills, dedication, and leadership experience developed in the military are invaluable assets to the business community.
The Armed Forces Covenant ensures that veterans, reservists, and their families receive the support they need as they transition into civilian life, pursue new careers, or further develop their skills.
Our pledge goes beyond mere words. We actively create opportunities for current and former service members to excel through professional development and training.
As a training provider, we understand the importance of continuous learning, particularly for those moving into new sectors after military service.
Bronze Award Recognition
Achieving the Bronze Award demonstrates that we are taking actionable steps to become an armed forces-friendly organisation. This recognition signifies that:
- We actively support the armed forces, including individuals who work with us or those seeking employment opportunities.
- We promote an armed forces-friendly culture by being open to employing reservists, veterans, cadet instructors, and military spouses or partners.
- We publicly demonstrate our support through the display of the Armed Forces Covenant logo on our website, marketing materials, and other collateral.
This is a significant step, but it’s only the beginning. We will expand our support for service personnel and their families, ensuring they have the necessary tools and resources to succeed in their careers.
How We Support Armed Forces Personnel
One of the key ways we reinforce our commitment to the armed forces community is through our ELCAS contract.
The Enhanced Learning Credits Administration Service (ELCAS) scheme offers financial support to service members, enabling them to access quality education and training.
As an approved provider, TSW helps eligible military personnel utilise their Enhanced Learning Credits (ELC) to fund professional development courses. These courses will ensure that we prepare them for life, both during and after service.
Our ELCAS-funded courses help service members gain nationally recognised qualifications to boost their employability and advance their professional growth.
From leadership and management to specialist technical training, we provide tailored solutions that meet the needs of veterans, reservists, and serving personnel.

Looking Forward – Our Continued Commitment
At TSW Training, we are deeply committed to supporting those who have served our country.
Signing the Armed Forces Covenant and receiving the Bronze Award are symbols of this commitment, but our actions speak louder than these accolades.
By offering training and development opportunities, we aim to provide the tools needed for service members to thrive professionally, both during and after their time in the armed forces.
We will continue to promote an inclusive and supportive environment for all members of the armed forces community, ensuring that they receive the recognition, respect, and opportunities they deserve.
