Alun is an experienced health and safety trainer with 25 years of involvement in course delivery, design, and training management. He served 30 years with South Wales Police and undertook and managed many safety-critical roles.
Alun has an extensive track record of delivering a wide range of courses in health and safety, leadership, and management. He has provided these courses for diverse organisations not only in the United Kingdom but also overseas.
Alun employs a calm, supportive, and facilitative approach to foster active involvement and open dialogue. He aims to create an enjoyable learning environment for the participants and is known for being receptive and accessible to others.
He has delivered hundreds of IOSH Managing Safely courses as well as non-accredited courses for TSW.
Alun has a Bachelor of Education (Honours) degree in Vocational Training awarded by the University of Wales.
He has the NEBOSH Level 6 Diploma and the NEBOSH Level 3 Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety.
He holds a Certificate in Education from the University of Wales Institute Cardiff and a Police Trainers Certificate from the UK College of Policing. He is a member of IOSH.
